Full Description: Class Vendor: This class is available for contracted delivery from MU Fire Rescue Training Institute - MUFRTI. Contracted Price: $2500.

This 8 hour course is designed to enhance knowledge and practical skills in aggressive trauma care management of casualties in mass casualty and active shooter events. Integrating fire, EMS, and police is an essential function of a response. Throughout this course, discussions and practical exercises will familiarize responders with best practices. Practical exercises will focus on the Advanced skills of Unified Command, Rescue Task Force teams, Casualty Collection Points (Triage and Treatment areas) within a series of full scale exercises.

Course Objectives:
Students will gain a better understanding of aggressive trauma care.
Students will gain experience working with multiple different agencies and disciplines. Students will gain a better knowledge of the Incident command system geared toward active shooter and working with the a unified command.
