This course is designed to provide responders with the information to stay safe while working around today’s high tech vehicles. Auto manufacturers are making vehicles safer for the occupants, however little is done to educate or protect the first responders from the new safety devices they encounter during extrication rescues

Course Objectives: Stabilization of vehicle, Interior access, Electrical shutdown, patient protection and removal, types of collisions, scene safety.
