Tree Stand Rescue is becoming a high-hazard, low-frequency event. Being trained and prepared is essential to victim survivability.

Course Objectives: Tree Stand Rescue Technician : This 8 hour program is designed to meet the Chapter 5 Rope Technician Level of NFPA 1006 2021. Students will develop an action plan, direct a rescue, ascend and perform a rescue of a victim suspended from a tree. Students will have the opportunity to develop and practice skills in tree stand rescue. Students must be proficient in Rope Technician Level requirements.

Student Pre-requisites: Student must have successfully completed a Technical Rescuer Rope I and II course or equivalent.

Prerequisites: Student must have successfully completed a Technical Rescuer Rope I and II course or equivalent.
