Fire Fighter (NFPA 1010-2024) Update Session
Full Description
This course will address the changes to the Missouri Fire Fighter I & II certification programs to meet the requirements of NFPA 1010-2024. This course is only for those who ae eligible to teach or evaluate a registered Mo-DFS Firefighter 1 or 2 course.

The update course will address the following items:
- Program requirements for approved courses: course delivery requirements, student enrollment
   requirements, and certification requirements.
- The differences between skills from the 1001-2019 standard and the new 1010-2024 standard.
- The new skills testing documents.

The update course will also qualify as new and existing evaluator training. The evaluator training component of the update course will address the following:
- Evaluator requirements.
- Evaluator expectations.
- Evaluator responsibilities.
- Skill testing processes by certification level.

WE WILL NOT BE PROVIDING DOCUMENTS, PLEASE BRING A LAPTOP TO REVIEW OR PRINT THE TEN (10) PDFs ATTACHED TO THIS COURSE.
