This course addresses the requirements for Fire Inspector II found in Chapter 5 of NFPA 1031, Standard for Fire Inspector and Plan Examiner Professional Qualifications, 2014 Edition.

Signup Details
This is NOT a first come first enrolled course. All applications for the course will be reviewed and final roster determined by MODFS program managers.

This class will begin online on July 1, 2025 with a lead instructor from MODFS. Details on any meetings for this date will be provided to the students enrolled in the course. All students must have successfully completed all course requirements by August 30, 2025 in order to attend the skills portion of the course/certification. Any student that does not complete the course requirements will not be allowed to complete practical skills.

A 3-day skills week has been set at Wentzville FD from September 9-11, 2025. All students who complete the online portion of the course must attend the skills days in order to complete the practical skills portion of certification.
