This 20 hour class is Entry Level Dive Certification from Scuba Divers International that is the prerequisite for all Scuba Diving Related Certifications with an emphasis in preparing for a career in Public Safety Diving.

Course Objectives: The Student will be able to perform as an entry level Open Water Scuba Diver.

Student Pre-requisites: 18 years of age and good health / Swim assessment.
Prerequisites - affiliated with a public safety organization.

All dive equipment will be checked and approved by the lead instructor for safety considerations on the first day of class*

If you need dive equipment to use, please reach out to the lead instructor Tyler Prater at info@mrdivers.com ASAP, as there is a very limited availability of equipment to borrow.

A basic swim assessment consisting of a 200m lap swim for completion and 10 min water tread will be administered on the first practical day.

Host agency provides the following: Access to a pool greater that 7 feet. Coordination of a diving site that is safe for entry level diving, Computer access for students to complete online coursework prior to in-person class day.

Student provides the following: Swim gear / Towel.

Vendor provides the following: Entry Level Scuba Equipment for student use, limited availability.
