Full Description: This course addresses the requirements for Fire Service Instructor I found in Chapter 4 of NFPA 1041, Standard for Fire and Emergency Services Instructor Professional Qualifications, 2019 Edition.

Prerequisites: By clicking this box, the student attests that they meet the medical and physical requirements to perform the tasks of the chosen course(s) and that they meet the character trait requirements as established by their sponsoring department, academy, or agency.
21 years old
Student must have a minimum of three years experience, or must provide a letter of recommendation from his/her agency supervisor.
Applicant must hold an active certification recognized by the Missouri Division of Fire Safety or hold a current POST or EMT license in the State of Missouri.
